AMBER/HPS or Green is a popular color among bowfisherman and penetrates staind/murky water much deeper than using unfiltered LEDs. Use green for water with alot of algae and HPS/Amber for murky waters.
Comparison to HPS/MH Lights:
LEDs are known to be much less costly, produce much less heat, less bulky, weigh much less and are easier & safer to install. Not to mention they don't always require an expensive generator compared to HPS/MH lights (Depending on your setup). However, many bowfisherman prefer the HPS/MH for staind/murky because of the reduction in light reflection compared to LEDs. The LED light filter cover solves this issue and provides the HPS color of light while using LEDs. The cost of a typical 150W HPS/MH light, when you consider all the heavy gage wiring, extra replacement bulbs, generator, gas to run the generator, capacitors (Often recommended to protect generators and lights from shorts) and difficult wiring, the cost per light can easily reach above $80-$100 per light.

WARRANTY and RETURNS
All products come with a guarantee that no major defects for a duration of 1 year.
The 1 year warranty that we will be honored under certain conditions. All products needing warranty work must have been purchased by the user that is sending the lights back. In some cases we will require that the products be sent back to us at the expense of the customer. If it is determined by CarpLite to be a faulty light or wrong product we will cover shipping.
Cosmetic defects, depending on severity, may or may not be covered under warranty. Broken lenses and electrical shorting due to water damage, etc are not covered under warranty due to the acts of the user, unless they were broken during the shipping process.
